Having a fulfilling life means peace of mind over anything and anyone
Today, I woke up hearing raindrops and feeling the cold breeze of the wind. It’s another day for doing my usual routine in the morning. However, it seems that the atmosphere has changed, everything feels light and warm. I don’t know I feel warm, despite the coldness that permeates outside. And, it feels very nostalgic. It feels like I’m watching my younger self waking up in our old house, excited to watch my favorite cartoons, and enjoyed a hot chocolate drink while the rain continues to pour.
That feeling usually reminds me of my younger self. The one that doesn’t feel any stress and just feels carefree. As I reach my 20s, challenges pave my way. When I started to crave attention, I started to crave recognition with achievements. My soul becomes busy maneuvers to what I want. The busy life of the city affected me. As a result, pressure always takes my side that sometimes I feel lost with it.
Having a fulfilling life means peace of mind over anything and anyone
Take courage.
At times, people overlooked what they have in life. As social media becomes a norm to us, people tend to wish for what others have. Without looking at their self, without taking time to reflect on things they have. I remember a celebrity that I usually watched, she can sing, dance, rap, and even impress others because of her being smart and witty. I tend to wish I was her. I dream of being just like her, the life she has, the things she has. I even felt jealous of what other has in life.
Nevertheless, it drains me at some point in my life. You see sometimes as we always look for others and their life. It results to become a waste. A waste of time thinking about petty things and always overlooked what we have. I then realized to take courage. Simply recognized yourself for who you are. My quest to belongingness and being wanted is ravening. Take a simple step of courage to build yourself. Perhaps, it’s hard at first but you will always find a piece of gem on whatever road you wish for. Acceptance is not the responsibility of other people we owe it to ourselves.
Cut off those strings of toxic.
We, as human beings experience a roller coaster ride of emotion. This day you’re happy the next day you’re not. Hence, that’s normal for us to experience. Always keeps this mantra, my dear, breathe it’s just a bad day, not a bad life.
Our life composes of people that we treasure and take care of. But, sometimes they tend to destroy our sanity and peace of mind. Fear of being left alone and being unwanted. Maybe, that’s the reason people always kept in their mind. As a result, the toxic environment keeps lurking that sometimes it became a habit to just come along. And it’s not a good deal my friend, learn to cut off that strings. Don’t be afraid to focus on yourself because your life will not depend on them. You do your own elite life, once you’ve got through it people will come along. Those who will truly appreciate you and those who will take care of you.
Stop chasing the wrong train.
It’s a trail that we keep following as it symbolizes success. We tend to rush with our work, focusing on the task we need to finish, fulfill the everyday responsibility we need to. We’re like a computer that doesn’t turn off. Keeping on hustling life and achieve those goals we set. Do you ever wish to wake up in the morning in a fresh and calm surroundings? With an echo of calmness and whispers of fresh air? Then stop chasing the wrong train. There’s always one ride that’s just for you, my dear.
The trail you kept tracking is not worth it. Take your time building yourself. Others might ride their train on their own but that train is not for you. The right one will come as the stars above will eventually hear your thoughts and hope.
