Thailand wins Miss Intercontinental 2023

Over the weekend, Thailand’s Chatnalin Chotjirawarachat swept away the crown and was named Miss Intercontinental 2023. She becomes the second Thai woman in the pageant’s history to win the title.

Celebrating its 51st edition, Miss Intercontinental took place on December 15 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. Succeeding Miss Intercontinental 2022 Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc from Vietnam, Chotjirawarachat bested over 23 other candidates.

Thailand wins Miss Intercontinental 2023

A 26-year-old from the province Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chatnalin has a degree in Communication Arts from the Bangkok University International College.

Prior being to her appointment, she previously competed at Miss Universe Thailand 2023. Finishing as 3rd runner-up, she later assumed the 1st runner-up position.

Nine years ago, Thailand won its first crown in 2014 through Patraporn Wang.

Meanwhile, Ionna Gibbs of the Philippines finishes among the Top 20 semifinalists. Gibbs is the first representative of Mutya ng Pilipinas since the pageant acquired the local franchise after Binibining Pilipinas.
