Albania is named Miss Earth 2023

The land of Eagles is now soaring high above as Drita Ziri of Albania takes home the title of Miss Earth 2023! Succeeding Mina Sue Choi of Korea, she makes history as the first Albanian woman to win the pageant.

Besting 84 other candidates for the crown, the final competition and coronation night took place on December 22 at Vạn Phúc City in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Albania is named Miss Earth 2023

An 18-year-old Model and Host, Drita plans to pursue a degree in Tourism Management. A former Miss Globe Albania, she previously competed at the pageant in 2022 where she was hailed as 2nd runner-up.

Recognizing the extraordinary risks that humans pose to marine life and ecosystems, Drita advocates for healthier oceans.

For this year’s elemental court, Yllana Marie Aduana of the Philippines places second, finishing as Miss Earth-Air. Đỗ Thị Lan Anh of Vietnam comes in third, receiving the title of Miss Earth–Water while Cora Bliault of Thailand completes the final four as Miss Earth–Fire.
