A Tranquil Escape in Makati: Citadines Benavidez Experience
Located in the bustling city of Makati, Citadines Benavidez stands as a beacon of modern comfort and urban convenience. Spending two days and one night within its modern confines, I embarked on an exploration of this urban oasis. You could say I was eager to unravel the layers of comfort, sophistication, and tranquility it promised.

Checking In: A Warm Welcome to Citadines Benavidez
From the moment I entered the lobby, the contemporary design set a sophisticated tone. The color palette which includes shades of orange, copper, green, turquoise, and teal definitely elevates the warm welcoming feel of the lobby.
The check-in process was swift, and the staff’s warm hospitality made me feel instantly at home. The seamless blend of efficiency and friendliness left a positive first impression.
Right by the waiting area, they also have an Internet Corner where you can use their desktops for quick access to your business. The staff would even offer you coffee from the coffee machine next to it.
The Room: A Sanctuary of Style and Comfort
As I received my room key, I then proceeded towards the elevator. They have 3 elevators, presumably to lessen the wait time for the quests. Shortly after, I arrived at the 16th floor, where my room was.
Entering my room, a studio deluxe, was like stepping into a sanctuary of style and functionality. This well-appointed space featured a plush bed that promised restful nights. It also includes a thoughtfully designed work area, and a compact kitchenette equipped with all the essentials. Much like the Lobby, the color theme was also prevalent in the room, creating a serene ambiance.
Behind the head of the bed, the wall is designed with a modern statement art of the Makati skyline.
Right by the bed, sits a comfortable loveseat, with plush pillows. A working table in front of it. A large flat screen smart TV hangs on the wall in front of the bed. Right beside it is a very spacious wardrobe.
Here’s a few of the things available in the room were also pots and pans, glass stove top, cutlery, glasses, plates, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, iron, ironing board, hair blower, safe, toothbrush, toothpaste, bath items, towels, laundry bag, extra pillow, dryer, and flashlight.
Here’s the room rates: PHP 4,800 – Studio, PHP 6,000 – One Bedroom (Inclusive of breakfast for two.)
Amenities that Impress: Fitness, Pool, and Beyond
Beyond the confines of my room, Citadines Benavidez revealed an array of amenities that elevated the stay to a truly memorable experience. They were mostly located at the top floor of the hotel, the rooftop.
The fitness center, equipped with state-of-the-art gym equipment, allowed guests to maintain their workout routine.
The rooftop pool, surrounded by comfortable loungers, offered a refreshing retreat with panoramic views of the city—an ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploration. They also have a function room, which is available for your work and business activities.
Another game-changing service they feature is their laundry service. for families, accidental spills are unavoidable. With their laundry service, you can trust the staff to wash, dry, and even iron your clothes.
Culinary Adventures: Dining at the Catalogue
Dining at the hotel’s restaurant “Catalogue” was a culinary adventure in itself. The menu seamlessly blended local flavors with international cuisine, offering a diverse array of dishes to satisfy various palates. In our stay, we were entitled for dinner and breakfast for two.
For our dinner on the first day, we were served Enoki Mushroom Tempura and Salt and Vinegar Chicken Skin for our Appetizers. For the main course was Menchi Katsu Curry with Passion Fruit Iced Tea. Other options were Chicken Satay, Grilled Sole Fish, and Buttered Milk Chicken. For dessert, which was a highlight, Passion Fruit Taho.
The next day for breakfast, I ordered their Corned Beef with a Sunny-Side Up Egg with Garlic Fried Rice, accompanied by a mug of Coffee.
