HONOR Philippines opens 7th Experience Store at SM North Edsa
HONOR Philippines celebrates technology and innovation as they open their 7th experience store at SM North Edsa Cyberzone. Tech enthusiasts, HONOR phone users, and Shaira Diaz, HONOR’s brand ambassadress joined the store’s launch and ribbon cutting.
The event exhibited various live tests demonstrating HONOR’s groundbreaking technology and innovation behind every phone.

It gets even better, HONOR features HONOR share, a wireless sharing technology which allows users inter-device data transfers.
That’s not even the best part about HONOR smart devices. HONOR tech devices proudly introduce the first ever AI motion sensing capture technology. It’s a feature that allows users to automatically take clear and high-quality resolution photos even if the subject is moving.
When I say there’s no phone like an HONOR phone, there is truly nothing like it, particularly the HONOR Magic5 Pro. The HONOR Magic5 Pro showcased their groundbreaking innovation as they partnered with Guinness World Record in capturing the highest between-the-legs slam dunk.

‘Indestructible’ phone
Have you ever heard of an invincible smartphone—a device that could withstand water, dust, and falls multiple times? These smart devices are probably it! It showed the brand’s leaps and bounds in innovation with their seemingly indestructible phone. Shaira Diaz, GMA artist and HONOR’s brand ambassadress, graced the audience with live demonstrations of the phone’s durability.
Ms. Shaira Diaz put the HONOR Magic5 Pro to the test, starting with the phone’s water resistance technology. The brand’s smart devices carries IP68 water and dust resistance rating, the highest rating for a mobile phone. This guarantees high-quality resolution capture technology—video or images—even if submerged up to 1.5 meters deep. Staying true to its claim, the phone produced high-quality definition images and videos despite being submerged under cold water.

To make things more challenging, the HONOR Magic5 Pro took a physical durability test. The test involves using the HONOR Magic5 Pro’s screen to pound an apple and check if the phone will remain undamaged.
This test not only impressed Ms. Shaira but every tech enthusiast at the venue. No longer than a minute, Ms. Shaira pounded the apple to bits and pieces yet the phone’s screen remained unscathed.

They also shared this experience with the audience as they called volunteers to try the phone’s durability for themselves. Just like Ms. Shaira’s, the phone remained undamaged and flawless. It’s truly a technology and an innovation to behold, leaving every audience bewildered by the brand’s durability.
