OPINION: My Top 3 Drinks From Starbucks

Being a customer service representative or should I say working in a BPO industry it is important to stay awake during your shift since you cannot do your job while you are sleeping right?

We must do anything to be awake even though it’s hard to fight the urge to give in to the slumber. In this industry, drinking coffee is a must. Here, I will share my top 3 beverages in Starbucks that help me to stay awake!

Barista Drink

Two or three pumps of your favorite flavored syrup (vanilla, caramel, or cinnamon dolce are recommended), 1 to 2 ounces of half-and-half slowly poured, and a single or double shot of espresso floated on top complete the drink. This drink is a go-to drink for me whenever I am on a tight budget. This drink is partially cheaper than the usual drink I order.

Caramel Macchiato

Milk is heated until it is stretched and smooth to bring out its natural sweetness in this wonderful, multilayered Macchiato. The deep, creamy foam sits on top. The espresso is then poured over and through the foam, mixing with the milk to create an amazing swirly illusion. To make it more effective, I usually add extra shots of espresso.

Iced Shaken Hibiscus Tea with Pomegranate Pearls

The base of new Iced Shaken Hibiscus Tea with Pomegranate Pearls is made up of the vivid floral tones of our Teavana Hibiscus tea. For an extra burst of flavor, lush pearls brimming with pomegranate juice are added to the mix. This beverage is not a coffee-based drink. I usually order this when I want to be refreshed with its fruitiness due to the pomegranate pearls.
