The Colombian-American actress, Sofia Vergara, posted a series of photos this Thursday. It shows a reunion with her co-stars from the 2009 sitcom, Modern Family, and it’s bringing everyone nostalgia!

Modern Family enthusiasts, rejoice! Our beloved stars have come together for their reunion since the sitcom ended in 2020.
As seen in Sofia’s post, she has reunited with Ed O’Neill, Julie Bowen, Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, Nolan Gould, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, and of course, the creator of the show, Steven Levitan.
Ty Burrell was notably absent from the get-together, but his presence was humorously summoned through a photograph. Where was the robot Phil when we needed him the most? But kidding aside, we’re all happy to see them together once more!
Sofia, known for her role as ‘Gloria,’ also shared another post. It featured her on-screen husband, Ed, who portrayed the character of ‘Jay.’
The post garnered numerous comments expressing how much viewers missed the show, with some even quoting memorable and funny lines from it!
An Instagram user commented: Aiiiiii Jaaaaayyyyyy🦜(from anacriisilva). Another IG user also expressed that they’re their favorite television couple, and further shared another humorous moment from the show.
“My favorite tv couple. I love the episode when Jay goes to the next-door neighbor to complain about their dog; the neighbor then complain[s] about their [bird]🦜 (Gloria) 😂” (from floridaremoteonlinenotary).
To provide more context, there’s an episode in Modern Family where Gloria repeatedly shouts Jay‘s name, expressing her frustration with their neighbor’s dog. The next morning, the TV couple approached the neighbor’s door to address the barking, only for him to counter-complain, insisting he never mentioned the continuous squawking from Gloria’s home (they never owned a bird).
And in her third post, she posted more photos of bonding with the former cast.
Their connection from the movie appears to have remained unchanged— and it’s making the MF enthusiast ooze with nostalgia and happiness. I mean, we’re all thrilled to see them bonding, and how they’ve graciously shared those moments with us, too!
The heartwarming reunion has reignited my desire to watch Modern Family again! It’s truly delightful to see how they continue to treat each other with the same warmth even after the show concluded.
