Malaysia wins The Miss Globe 2023; PH finishes 2nd runner-up

Manvin Khera of Malaysia has been crowned as the newest The Miss Globe 2023. Succeeding Anabel Payano of the Dominican Republic, she makes history as the first woman from her country to ever win the title.

With 50 candidates all over the globe competing for the crown, the pageant’s world finals took place on November 17 in Durrës, Albania.

A talented 22-year-old, Manvin is a model, commercial talent, and also a singer. Aside from the crown, she won the special award for Miss Talent.

A strong advocate for the environment, Manvin is the co-leader and spokesperson for Trash Hero in Kuala Lumpur. Trash Hero is an international organization that aims to bring communities together in order to clean and reduce waste.

Meanwhile, Philippine representative Anna Valencia lands in the Top 5, eventually placing as 2nd runner-up. Completing this year’s court are Katia Rodriguez of Spain as 1st runner-up, Esther Chidera of Nigeria as 3rd runner-up, and Kirstin Bangs of USA as 4th runner-up.
