The comedic side of the show is not pushed and you just find yourself enjoying the show.

Other mockumentary shows depict life in their workplaces. But the feels in the Modern Family is different, making its way closer to our hearts as we became part of the family. The title itself reflects how the show is written and produced. It depicts not only a story of a modern family, but also a modern approach to comedy.

The jokes and punchlines of the show mix well with how it was delivered and how the scene was presented. They were written not just for the audience to laugh at them, but also, to narrate and advance the storyline of each episode. And after each episode comes the moral of the story. Like Gloria has described Salazar and El Oso, a Columbian comedic act in the show, they make you laugh, but also, they make you think.
Ending the wonderful series on Season 11 last 2020, the show left us all crying, as if we were part of the extended family and we too, were saying goodbye to the Pritchetts. After the series has ended, the cast outside their reel life still greets each other like their own relatives. And they still see each other from time to time but the support is consistent.
