Miss Universe Philippines 2023 National Costume Competition to be held in Tacloban
The beauty of the country’s diverse regional cultures will shine once again as Miss Universe Philippines bring forth this year’s National Costume Competition.
In a social media post, the organization discloses that the event will happen on May 4. Taking place at the Leyte Normal University in the city of Tacloban, Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados and actor Marco Gumabao will serve as hosts.

For this year’s theme, the costumes will be paying homage to the country’s Agriculture industry. Highlighting the significance of both farmers and their produce, the caption states:
“Be amazed by the stunning national costumes inspired by the rich history and traditions of Filipino farming communities.”
Ganados will be hosting the pre-show event while Gumabao serving as main host.

Currently, touring the provinces around Eastern Visayas last May 1, the 38 candidates participated in the Flores De Mayo motorcade in Tacloban.
