Eyes here, Studio Ghibli enthusiasts! Hayao Miyazaki has shared a collection of sneak peeks from his latest cinematic masterpiece. It has graced Japan’s silver screens last July 14, 2023.

The Boy and the Heron is Miyazaki‘s new masterpiece. And lately, Ghibli released a booklet containing some stills from the movie.

Many are excited over this because it’s been five years since his last release under Ghibli. Furthermore, according to IMDb:

“Through encounters with his friends and uncle, follows a teenage boy’s psychological development. He enters a magical world with a talking grey heron after finding an abandoned tower in his new town.”

Studio Ghibli has shared stills from the movie, courtesy of the Ghibli Community.

The Boy and the Heron is set to air at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival on September 7. Moreover, reports also said that it will premiere in theaters later this year.
