In The Clinical, we follow the story of a psychiatrist who begins to experience symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder as she struggles with the ghost of her patient. She tries to fix her life by assisting a new patient with his harrowing past. Each episode is illuminating, delivering its brand of psychological insights. A group of people is put through a succession of increasingly difficult and dangerous “escape rooms”. They try to make it out alive using just their wits. Its intricate plot is reminiscent of the mysteries and puzzles you’d encounter in a real-life escape room. There’s a consistent level of intensity and tension that keeps you engaged throughout the film. One of the most astute choices made in the film was to ensure that the story would center on the characters’ joint efforts to solve the puzzles rather than on the multiple grisly deaths that would occur. However, critics were divided on this film. Some are praising the film’s ambiance and its cast while others are saying it failed to live up to its potential because of its formulaic plot and underutilized premise. Nevertheless, it is still worth watching.

Watching this film in a quiet environment is recommended. Watching it at night will give you the full effect of the suspense. It will make your heart race and give you the chills.
