Brazil wins Man of the Year 2023
As it celebrates its 6th edition, Man of the Year 2023 crowns its next supremely achievable gentleman in the name of Dereck Gimenes of Brazil. Besting 14 other candidates, he makes history as the first Brazilian to ever win the title.
Succeeding Dominik Chabr of the Czech Republic, the pageant held its finals on November 10 at the 100 Sunset Hotel in Bali, Indonesia.

As the pageant’s newest global ambassador, Dereck will be utilizing his reign to promote the pageant’s main causes and advocacies. Particularly, shedding light on the importance of wildlife conservation, and environmental awareness as well as immersing in different humanitarian projects.
Aziman Mai of Taiwan finishes second by placing as first runner-up while Filip Sanda of the Czech Republic comes in as second runner-up. Muhammad Ridwan of Indonesia and Kaminpop Kaewdiao of Thailand round out the Top 5, placing as third and fourth runners-up, respectively.
Meanwhile, Philippine representative, Vandave Lopez Paragas bags the special title of Man of the Year Asia 2023.
