Asus recently announced their newest addition to the Zenfone lineup, the Asus Zenfone 9. We’re expecting this phone to launch on July 28. And, it’s probably one of the best compact android phones we’re gonna get this year.
Asus calls the Zenfone 9 the “Most grabbable phone ever.” Like the previous Zenfone 8, the Zenfone 9 will feature a compact form factor. This is great news for people who love small phones. Compact smartphones are handy and easy to use with one hand, and with most flagships that sport a large size, the Zenfone 9 is set to be a refreshing flagship phone in the market that goes against the norm.
We don’t know much about the new Zenfone 9 aside from a few key specifications. A leaked marketing video states that the Asus Zenfone 9 will feature the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, a 5.9-inch 120-hertz display, two rear cameras with a gimbal feature, a 4,300mAh battery, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Additionally, the phone will also feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. And, it will also come in four colors. Red, black, cream, and blue. This is already looking like a good flagship.
As for the price of the Asus Zenfone 9, we can expect the price to be lower or higher than the price of the Zenfone 8. For reference, the price of the Zenfone 8 is 34,995 to 39,995 Pesos. This gives us a rough idea of the price that we can expect for the Asus Zenfone 9.
Undoubtedly, the Asus Zenfone 9 looks like a strong flagship smartphone. Even if we haven’t seen the rest of the specifications of the phone yet. Also, it would be interesting to see if we are getting a flip version of this phone.
