Shell Pilipinas Corporation (SPC) was awarded two golden arrows by the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD). The Golden Arrow recognition is given to top publicly listed companies (PLCs) in the country. These are companies that meet the score requirements on corporate governance.
The ICD’s Golden Arrow Awards, a biennial program, celebrates PLCs for their exceptional corporate governance practices. This esteemed recognition hinges on the outcomes of the ICD’s ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS). It’s a self-assessment tool enabling PLCs to gauge their corporate governance performance against international benchmarks.
The award is a testament to Shell’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and fairness in its business practices, which is aligned with the Philippine Corporate Code and the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Code of Corporate Governance.
As Shell Pilipinas continues to power progress for the Philippines, the company adheres to its corporate governance framework designed to protect the interests of all stakeholders, including shareholders, employees, customers, and suppliers.
