Cagsawa Ruins Tour

Cagsawa Ruins offers the most iconic view of Mayon Volcano which is why it is one of the most-visited attractions in Legazpi. The church ruins are remnants of what was once an admired structure during the Spanish era.

It was built by the Franciscans in the 17th century, destroyed by the Dutch pirates, and was further damaged during the volcano’s eruption in 1814. It was declared a National Cultural Treasure by the National Museum.

Right after your ATV adventure, spice up your Mayon experience by taking a zip line at the Mayon Black Lava Wall. It was in 2006 when the volcano erupted and formed a high pile of lava rocks. And when the lava rocks have completely solidified, locals offer an adventure where tourists will need to climb to the top of the lava rocks then descend through a zipline.

Mayon Volcano is truly a sight to witness. It’s the perfect centerpiece to the land of Albay and Bicol in general.
