Ilah Nature Park

If you’re looking for a place to enjoy the view of the Mayon Volcano, you can always visit Ilah Nature Park. Located in Ligao, it opens from 7 AM to 5 PM for day visitors. However, you can go for an overnight stay and check in at 5 PM.

You can experience the beauty of nature with your family and friends. You will need to hike for about ten to twenty minutes to reach the place. However, if you get tired, you can rest in the kubos that they built there.

Once you arrive, you will see the perfect cone shape of the Mayon Volcano, especially with the good weather and clear skies. Aside from the volcano, you can also see the view of Mt. Masaraga and other natural landscapes in Albay, Bicol.

Ligñon Hill

In a hilltop park in Ligñon Hill, you will also see a great view of the Mayon and enjoy other activities the place offers. It is also a place where people go jogging and see the landscapes of Legazpi City and the Mayon Volcano.

SM Mall Legazpi

Mayon can also be seen anywhere around Albay even on roads and malls, its view is highlighted. On the terrace of SM Mall Legazpi, you can go outside the Food Plaza and take pictures of the volcano. While eating in the Food Plaza, you can see the majestic view of the Mayon Volcano because the wall is made of glass which you can see clearly.

Camalig Bypass Road

One of the perfect places to see Mayon while on road is along the Camalig Bypass Road, wherein there’s a big and clear view of the Mayon. Passersby can stop to take pictures, and they can also get food from the food stalls located there.
