Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII – Reunion Is Getting a Remaster
Final Fantasy is one of the famous video game franchises we know today. It has been 35 years since the release of the first installment of the game. Final Fantasy VII is the most popular game in the franchise. It recently celebrated its 25th anniversary along with some news announcements regarding the future of the game. Square Enix announced the sequel of the remake of FFVII, the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The second game in the FFVII remake trilogy. Another announcement that made the fans go wild is the remaster of Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII.

Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII is the prequel game of FFVII, first released in 2007 on PlayStation Portable (PSP). The story takes place 7 years before the happenings in the original game. Zack Fair is the main character for the Crisis core. The previous owner of the Buster sword that Cloud Strife wields in the original game. Several playable characters from the main story will appear in remaster. Following Its ending, Crisis Core will lead to the main story where Cloud Strife is the main character.
Announcement on Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII – Reunion
The remaster of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion was announced on June 17 during the Square Enix’s Anniversary Celebration Livestream of FFVII. According to the company, the remaster will be released in winter 2022. Though it still doesn’t have a specific release date. Watch the trailer here:
Square Enix has also created a page dedicated to the information on Crisis Core remaster. Which will feature multiple improvements from the original game. Unlike the Final Fantasy VII Remake, Crisis Core Remaster will available on Nintendo Switch, Steam, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox series consoles.
