Alchemy of Souls Update: tvN Drama Shares Still Cut of Jang Uk

Here are my thoughts about the posted photos of our favorite mage, Jang Uk.

Based on this image, I believe we may anticipate significant changes in the upcoming season. We may say that this is not the Jang Uk we all knew, from his appearance to the way he expresses himself! His stare made me wonder where the old him had gone. Where is he? The jolly and compassionate character from Season 1? I’ll always hold Jin Mu and his bells responsible for wrecking Jang Uk and Mudeok’s supposedly happy lives.

However, despite hating the fact that the lovers separated in a heart-wrenching way, this powerful Jang Uk still excites me! His dark aura highlights the light he lost following his lover’s “death”. I guess it’s time for revenge?

This is the best image for me. Jang Uk is here, sitting next to Naksu’s sword, staring longingly at the ying-and-yang jade. I suppose he misses the owner of the other jade a lot. Well, who wouldn’t? Even the fans can’t hold their emotions anymore! We just want to see the two happy.

The “Alchemy of Souls” is scheduled to premiere on December 10 at 9:10 p.m. KST on tvN.
