Lately, I have been drinking cranberry juice. Thinking about it, I would not know this juice existed if I didn’t get sick. I’m a sickly child and I didn’t live healthily. I love junk foods and carbonated drinks. When I went and lived with my aunt in Manila to study, I didn’t know how to cook. I only know the very simple dish, a fried dish to be exact, I’m living on a fried egg and instant noodles at the time. It’s no surprise that I got a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) that didn’t happen until the pandemic.
I didn’t find out about my UTI until it was severe. I am okay now, I have proper medication and am trying to live a healthy life. Since then Instant noodles are a no for me, I still eat them every once in a while however, It’s strictly limited. As well as carbonated drinks, I learned the hard way. Cranberry juice is one food that helps prevent UTIs, not cure, prevent. I started drinking this to prevent having UTI again other than it has more benefits to offer, here are some.
