Against the backdrop of a bountiful harvest, this extraordinary festival aligned with the Pahiyas Festival of Lucban and the Mayohan Festival of Tayabas.

Entering the enchanting atmosphere of Gumaca, we were greeted by streets adorned with magnificent arches meticulously crafted by different Barangays. Each arch showcased a unique display of the community’s abundant harvest. It also captivates our senses with a kaleidoscope of colors, textures, and fragrances. Moreover, it was a testament to the strong community spirit and the importance of agriculture in the region.

As the festival reached its peak, we eagerly joined the exuberant procession that wound its way through the heart of Gumaca. It is lovingly adorned with vibrant decorations, as it was paraded along the established route. The procession was a testament to the deep-rooted faith and cultural heritage of the people of Quezon.

But the festivities did not end there. The Arañat Baluarte Festival added an element of excitement as arañas, small ornamental chandeliers, were released into the air.
