The COVID-19 pandemic has affected a lot of livelihoods. It has also affected her singing career. In the same interview, she also admitted that her family experienced a major blow. Because she acted as the breadwinner in the family. Meanwhile, her singing engagements had gone due to strict health protocols.
“When the pandemic started, the family experienced a major blow as I was the breadwinner. My freelance modeling and singing engagements were all gone in a snap. Aside from the help we received from our relatives, I’m glad I found online live streaming as a source of income during those days.”
Janica also emphasized how her love for her family kept her motivated in finding solutions.
“As a breadwinner, I am willing to take on challenges life throws at me as long as I can give the best for my family. I would do everything even if it means being the padre de familia.”
In an Instagram post, she revealed that she will be releasing the song on Mother’s Day:
“Hi, guys! I’ll be releasing a song this coming Mother’s Day. I hope you can all support and help me share this gift to all the mothers out there 🤍🤍🤍”
