Jolina Magdangal thankful to the creator of viral Jolegend Slaydangal meme

Jolina Magdangal blew up as an actress and a singer since the ’90s. She became one of the most sought-out celebrities during that decade. Her renowned works include certain tv series such as Ang TV and Gimik. Of course, also her movies such as Hey Babe! and the iconic Labs Kita, Okey Ka Lang? In a recent revelation, she admitted what she feels about the Facebook pageJolegend Slaydangal. She has nothing but kind words for its creator.

Jolegend Slaydangal refers to a certain Facebook page. It uses her name and photos to produce hilarious parodies and timely content.

It is not uncommon on social media platforms. Jolina declared that she was surprised about the abrupt renewed interest in her, especially on social media. She admitted this during the virtual press conference of her upcoming comedy film, Momshies Ang Soul Mo’y Akin. It was already years ago. Hence, the actress said she could not believe that even the younger generation of millennials and gen Z expressed support for her. She said,

Jolegend Slaydangal gave a shout-out to the person behind this viral Facebook page. Even though she did not name the person, she said that the creator has an impressive way of thinking. She also made it clear that she was never offended by it.

The host explained,

Never akong na-offend. Sobra akong natuwa sa kaniya.

Now, on more news about her future projects, the icon joins Karla Estrada and Melai Cantiveros in a Mother’s Day film. These two actresses are her co-hosts in their tv show, “Magandang Buhay.” In the said film, it was said that they would be using her 1999 hit song “Chuva Choo Choo.”

The song was part of the soundtrack of her classic film “Hey Babe” with her then-onscreen partner Marvin Agustin. According to the actress, the song will have a different take on the film with more appropriate lyrics about momshies. She said,

The movie will be streaming starting May 28 on KTX.ph, iWantTFC, Sky PPV, Cignal PPV, and TFC IPTV.
