Sharon Cuneta quips ‘wala nang isyu ha!’ after happy purchase with LAX Hermès
Megastar Sharon Cuneta commended the staff of an Hermès store at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) for providing her with a good shopping experience.
Cuneta recently came to the United States for her ICONIC Tour with Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez. As the event concluded in latter March, the multi-awarded actress and singer had a short leisure time before returning to the Philippines.
And on Wednesday, Cuneta took to social media to express her gratitude to the staff of LAX Hermès. She shared her satisfaction as a customer, made possible with the help of accommodating personnel.
However, the update immediately prompted the netizens to recall an encounter last year.
Sharon Cuneta hails LAX Hermès after purchase
It may be recalled that Cuneta made headlines in October 2022 after a controversy involving the French luxury design house. Captured in her vlog, she wanted to buy from an Hermès store in South Korea, but a salesperson refused her entry.
Hence, Cuneta went instead and splurged on a nearby Louis Vuitton outlet. The scene concluded with her passing by the same Hermès shop and getting an invitation to go inside. She politely responded with no to the staff who denied her arrival.
Six months after the incident, Cuneta has a brand new experience concerning Hermès, but a positive one this time. She posted pictures on her social media pages to narrate the encounter.
“Finally got my new Hermés belts (my 20+-year-old ones are still too tight, pero lapit na!) Plus a few other things at The LAX Hermés store!”
Cuneta then went on to compliment how kind the assisting staff was.
“Ang bait nila, napabili pa ko tuloy ng iba! I’ve always loved their cashmere throws so [I] got myself a couple of new ones, plus bracelets!”
She further added, “Thank you to S.A. Miss Ivy for the great service!”
The megastar ended her post by quipping with the hashtag “wala nang isyu ha!” alluding to the old issue. Many netizens found the humorous take relatable.
