4 Actors That Are Perfect As X-Men In The MCU
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD. It is now official. Mutants are coming in the Marvel Cinematic Universe or MCU. Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel revealed herself as a mutant. In the episode finale of Ms. Marvel, Bruno tells Kamala that her powers are a product of mutation. This revelation, of course, shook the whole MCU fandom since it may be the confirmation that mutants from the X-Men are waving in the distance. Marvel Studios had taken over 20th Century Fox years ago. And, X-Men characters and its setting now belong to Marvel. Now that mutants are officially in the MCU, an. X-Men reboot is for sure just around the corner.
With that said, let me share a list of actors that I think would be perfect for this new version of X-Men in the MCU.
Taron Egerton as Wolverine
Taron Egerton is no stranger to the genre of action given his past projects. Aside from that, he got the looks of Wolverine due to his short stature and buff muscles. And, hey, he’s a fan favorite for the role! He might be perfect for this new version of Wolverine in the MCU.
Sierra McCain as Storm
Marvel Studios has a notoriety for giving breakthrough roles to relatively unknown actors. Chris Hemsworth as Thor is a testament to the Marvel magic. And, I think that could work once again for Storm when they cast someone as young as Sierra McCain from 9-1-1 Lone Star.
Logan Lerman as Cyclops
Logan Lerman is one of the 2010s most in-demand young actors. From being a teen idol, he grows into a matinee idol with oozing charm. With his experiences in fictional films like Percy Jackson movies, I bet he’s just perfect to play Cyclops for the MCU.
Luke Evans as Beast
Luke Evans is a fantastic character actor. He has been into several fantasy and action films. Evans is also a fan favorite for future MCU roles. With his acting range and effortless tough look, Evans is just the right man to portray Beast/Dr. Hank McCoy for the next X-Men flick.
James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender for MCU’s Professor X and Magneto
MCU can recast everyone from Fox’s X-Men except James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender. They are just too perfect as Professor X and Magneto. Their chemistry and struggle just effortlessly gravitate toward audiences. They are too perfect to replace.
