Marvel Studios is now developing a new MCU antihero film featuring the Thunderbolts. The film will be filmed by mid-2023 and Jake Schreier will be directing. Jake Schreier is the director behind the success of “Robots and Franks” and “Paper Towns. Eric Pearson will be in charge of writing the screenplay for the upcoming antihero film. Pearson is indeed responsible for the good storyline of several MCU one-shot films, Thor: Ragnarok and Black Widow.
Who are the Thunderbolts?
The Thunderbolts are a team of supervillains in the Marvel universe that is led by Baron and Thaddeus Ross. In addition, The team aims to be an alternative superhero team to the Avengers and Fantastic Four and reform supervillains. However, always comes with a sinister plan behind it in various storylines.

Fans are anticipating the eventual release of Thunderbolts since MCU limited series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier ended. Meanwhile, in the post-credit scene of the sixth episode, Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontine met John Walker, and gave him the moniker “US Agent”.
