When In Rizal: The UCM Adventure Park
With travel restrictions gradually being lifted across the country, city people are searching for a quick break. And suppose you are adventurous and love outdoor activities and breathtaking views. In that case, the UCM Adventure Park in Rizal is a must-visit whether you want to unwind or unleash your inner adrenaline addiction.
UCM Adventure Park is located in Barangay Silangan, San Mateo, and is only 30 minutes away from the metro. The location offers a variety of enjoyable activities for both solo travelers and groups. There is an outdoor dining area, ATV rentals, camping sites, and a spectacular view of Metro Manila.
Exciting Activities
All visitors must attend a briefing before riding the roads around the adventure park, where they will learn what to expect, what not to bring, and safety procedures.
Experience the ATV
The ATV rental packages at UCM Adventure Park are the most popular. The park’s terrains have excellent trails, including muddy roads you should not miss.
Prices:
Fun Trail or 1-hour ride at P1,500 per person
Experience Trail or 2-hour ride at P2,500 per person
Adventure Trail or 3-hour ride at P3,500 per person
Horseback Riding
Are you looking for a more relaxed riding experience? Horseback riding packages are also available at UCM Adventure Park.
Prices:
Park Ride (30minutes): P1,000
Mountain Ride (1 to 1 hour and 30 minutes): P2,500
Pine Tree Ride (2 to 3 hours): P4,500
You can try their horse feeding at P200 per person.
They also have extreme activities such as; Bicycle Zipline for P250 and Hanging Bridge for P150.
Overnight Camping
Set up a tent beneath the stars for the ultimate vacation experience. There are two locations accessible in the park. You may pitch your tent for P1,000 at the main campground or P750 at the hilltop campsite. Rentable tents are also available. The standard one costs P500 and can accommodate four people. The glamping tent is priced at P2,000 and may accommodate up to six people.
Apart from tent rentals, you may also sleep with a view of Metro Manila inside their camper trailer (P6,000) for two persons.
The camper trailer is tiny but includes everything you need for a day or two. It offers a queen-size bed with air conditioning and a television for couples to cozy up. If you need to cook, the trailer contains a mini-kitchen with a stove, rice cooker, sink, and utensils in the storage area.
Tanaw Resto
After the fun and tiring activities, for sure you will be starving. Fill up your empty tummies with delicious Filipino cuisine at their al fresco restaurant.
You must first book your reservation before going to UCM this weekend. The park’s admission is restricted to a few visitors, so you can’t simply wander in.
