What to Write When Nothing Seems Right
Stuck in the first few words of your essay requirement with no idea what to write next? We get you. Sometimes, writing can feel so forced and difficult. This article is your newest guide on what to write when nothing seems right.
Before you Right, Try to Read
Sometimes the issue is that you do not know much about the topic assigned to you. So my advice? Read and research a bit about you topic. This is one of my go to writer’s block antidote. Sometimes, in order to know what you have to say about something, you first need to know what other people have already said about it.
Look for Writing Prompts
This is of course about establishing a thesis statement first. Think of one statement that sums up your entire viewpoint on the topic and go on from there. Yes, it could be difficult and challenging when you are not in the mood. But, a one liner is always a good place to start.
Write.
The next advice seems a bit obvious. The best way to start to just write. Even if you end up with something that you know you would never submit or publish at least you already have a clear picture of what you do not want your essay or article to be like.
Take a Breather
Writing is a craft and an artistry, you cannot always force it. Sometimes, when nothing feels right maybe the last thing that you should be doing is forcing it. Maybe, what you need is to take a few hours to yourself.
Writing Should Not Feel Like Punishment
Writing- for people with passion for the pen, should feel as natural as breathing. It should not feel or be perceive as punishment. Just think that putting your thoughts on paper are sometimes the only way to make it real.

She wants to change that narrative and attempt to prove that the best way to progress and equality is by amplifying our humanity. Believe it or not- she absurdly believes that this could be done through writing. On a more formal and boring note she has a journalism degree with plans to pursue legal studies in the future.
