Vico Sotto is in demand to be every city’s Mayor as shown by a Twitter thread
Ever since Vico Sotto has become the mayor of Pasig City, he has been creating headlines due to how effective he is as a leader. He also never shies away from speaking up about certain issues.
He is very popular with the younger generation due to his progressive views and effective policies. The mayor also isn’t afraid to call out public officials when he needs to.
On October 1, Vico filed his certificate of candidacy before the local Commission on Elections office in the first district of Pasig on Friday.
Now, people want him for themselves, or in this case, their cities, to be their mayor.
A recent Twitter thread contained a series of users desiring him to be their city’s mayor.
These are a few:
Quezon City
A Twitter user with the username of @futilityfunc started the thread. He wrote that he’s very disappointed with the mayor for running as the Mayor of Pasig City once again. This is not because he thinks the mayor is incompetent, but that he wanted Vico for Quezon City.
“So disappointed of Vico Sotto. Running as Pasig Mayor again, when he could’ve run as QC Mayor instead.”
After his tweet, many Twitter users replied with their own desire for him to be their leader.
Davao City
User @nabunturanguy shaded the Dutertes in Davao City. He wrote,
“Sana sa Davao City na lang siya mag Mayor! Nasusuka na kami sa mga Duterte dito!”
(I hope he just runs as a mayor here in Davao City. We’re already very disgusted by the Dutertes here.)
Bulacan
Meanwhile, user @hanazawa_rui shared his frustration with tarpaulin politicians. This time, he wanted Vico to be a governor in Bulacan.
“Sana nag-governor na lang siya sa Bulacan. Sawang-sawa na kami sa mga tarpaulin politicians dito.”
(I hope he just runs as a governor here in Bulacan. I am so fed up with tarpaulin politicians.)
Cavite
Subsequently, a citizen of the province where I am from, Cavite, with the username of @ReynAnime, shared their distaste with the nepotism happening in the province.
“Sa Cavite din sana kaumay Remulla at Revilla mga magkaka mag anak lang din tumatakbo kakasawa [sad emoji]”
(Here in Cavite as well, I hope. The Remullas and Revillas just take turns in running for positions.)
