Watch Korean Films For Free at Korean Film Festival 2022
After two years, the Korean Film Festival (KFF) in the Philippines is back with a free movie live screening in selected SM cinemas.
The Return of the Korean Film Festival to PH
Listen up k-movie fans starting Aug 10 is the opening of the Korean Film Festival in Manila. Since the pandemic, KKF will return with free physical screenings that will be available from August 11 to 14 in different SM cinemas.
The film festival made it all happen as the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines collaborated through the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and SM Cinema. For three days, they will present different genres of Korean Films in the following selected cinemas:
- SM Grand Central
- SM Megamall
- SM North Edsa
- SM Southmall
- SM Mall of Asia
Free Korean Films
This year’s film festival will feature many great Korean movies to watch. From thrillers to feel-good movies, they have it. Seven Korean movies will premiere at the film festival for free.
These are the titles of the movies:
Deliver Us From Evil (directed by Hong Wonchan), Snowball (directed by Lee Woojung), Escape from Mogadishu (directed by Ryu Seung-wan).
Miracle: Letters to the President (directed by Lee Jang-hoon), The Novelist’s Film (directed by Hong Sangsoo), Perhaps Love (directed by Jo Eunji), and The Day I Died (directed by Park Jiwan).
The opening film screening will be joined by two Korean film directors such as Director Hong Wonchan and Director Lee Woojung on August 10
Moreover, if you are part of the audience, you will be able to meet and ask your questions after the opening.
In addition to that, the public screening and ticket distribution are on a first come, first serve basis. So being on time is a must.
