Praying in vain for help, he goes to a nearby bridge to contemplate suicide. However, before he can jump, a second-class angel named Clarence Odbody saves George to earn his wings.

Scoring 94%, A Charlie Brown Christmas revolves around the titular character. He confides in Linus that despite the Christmas season, he is still depressed. After Linus’ reproach and a put-down from Violet, he visits Lucy’s psychiatric booth and tells her his problem. Lucy, then, suggests that he direct the group’s annual Christmas play to get him more involved. However, he becomes even more discouraged as he observes the commercialization of Christmas as he heads for the rehearsal.

Scoring 96%, Miracle on 34th Street revolves around Santa Claus himself, Kris Kringle. It starts when he saw that the man assigned to play Santa in the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade remains heavily intoxicated. Complaining to the event director Doris Walker, she persuades Kris to take his place. He does so well that they hired him to play Santa at Macy’s flagship New York City store on 34th Street.

Scoring a perfect 100%, The Holiday Inn circulates around a popular New York City musical act: Jim Hardy, Ted Hanover, and Lila Dixon. On Christmas Eve, Jim prepares for his final performance before retiring with Lila to a farm in Connecticut. However, Lila tells Jim she has fallen in love with Ted instead. Heartbroken, Jim bids them goodbye. The following Christmas Eve, Jim comes back to New York City with plans to turn his farm into a Holiday Inn.
