NBA’s tribute video for Kobe Bryant left everyone crying

Kobe Bryant may have joined our creator but his legacy and memory remain alive to everyone. On Monday, the National Basketball Association paid tribute to him through a video looking back at his greatest moments

NBA posted in its Twitter the tribute video where Kobe reflects on his life and career through past interviews.

“Once upon a time, there was a young basketball player who had dreams of becoming one of the greatest basketball players of all time,” he said in the first part.

As time went on, he felt that he had accomplished all that he set out to accomplish. But what he’d come to is that realize that the goal he set out initially, to become the greatest of all time, was a very fickle one,” he added.

Kobe is Vanessa’s everything

For his wife, Vanessa, Kobe is her everything even up to this tear-jerking moment. She shared the relationship she had with Kobe and her daughter. In fact, she said Kobe and Gianna spent most of their time with each other watching basketball games and traveling.

I couldn’t see him as a celebrity, nor just an incredible basketball player. He was my sweet husband and the beautiful father of our children. He was my … he was my everything.”

God knew they couldn’t be on this earth without each other. He had to bring them home to heaven together,” she added.

Meanwhile, Michael Jordan also remembered his “little brother” Kobe. “When Kobe Bryant died, a piece of me died and as I look in this arena, across the globe, a piece of you died.

I promise you, from this day forward, I will live with the memories and knowing that I had a little brother,” added the NBA legend.

Rest in peace, Kobe Bryant. Your memory and legacy will forever be alive.
