Belle is my favorite Disney princess, here’s why:

Growing up, I was fond of watching Disney movies especially those that involved Disney princesses like Belle. Honestly, I once dreamed of becoming a princess someday. Well, maybe we all did. But, when everyone was so interested in Cinderella, my heart was captivated by the story of Beauty and the Beast.

Belle is my favorite Disney princess, here’s why:

She loves reading books.

During the first part of the story, you would know that Belle loves books already. And I love her for that because I can see myself in her shoes. When I was a child, I also loved reading storybooks. Now, I still read books but not quite often unlike before.

She adores her father very much.

Belle showed how she adores her father very much throughout the entire story. She was very supportive of his father’s woodwork. Also, she sacrificed her own life for the sake of his father, knowing that he was already a bit old.

Belle looks beyond someone’s physical appearance.

Belle fell in love with the Beast despite his physical appearance. She has shown the true definition of love where looks don’t matter. Although at first, she was hesitant and also a bit aloof toward the Beast, it was understandable knowing she was in an entirely unfamiliar place.

Eventually, she developed her feelings for the Beast when she realized that he was actually a good and kind man.

She is the epitome of beauty and bravery.

Ultimately, Belle exhibits beauty and bravery. She was just a simple girl and a kind daughter to his father. And I like her for being simple yet beautiful as ever.

Also, I admire her bravery. This was showcased in many parts of the movie. First, when she looked for his father. Then when she bravely conversed with the Beast. Lastly, when she fell in love and fought for her feelings until the very end.
