A farewell letter to my College Pals

It’s not always goodbye when you say farewell; sometimes it just means best wishes as we go our separate ways. As a means of looking back fondly on the time we have spent together and making that time even more memorable as we move forward in our lives. As I prepare to enter the University, I never imagined that while I’m here, I’ll have a lot of experiences. I experienced a range of emotions including disappointment, sadness, happiness, the feeling of being tired but contented, satisfaction, and pride in myself during this time. It is not just because of me, but also because of the other people who have assisted me during the entirety of the process.

Photos fade, videos disappear, and social media connections are severed. Now that we’re going in different directions, farewell can make it lighter. But I can’t help to think back on some of the experiences I had while I was attending the university. I have forged here will not last forever. It is a fact that there will be a circumstance that will push you to your limits. And, when that time comes, they will be there with you to support you through it.

And at that point, some people will decide to go in a different direction. Friendships made in college may or may not continue after graduation, depending on the circumstances. The end result of mine is not so good. Still, there are things I’ve learned along the way. However, there are things that I have learned while I was going through the process. As I think more about it, I realize how wonderful it is.

You will come to understand who genuinely cares about you and who does not. In a moment like this, I came to the understanding that I was actually inside the University. Despite the fact that they did not remain by my side for very long, I am extremely grateful to them. Because of them, life in college became more manageable, and I pick up a lot of useful information along the way. The upside of severing ties with them. That I have develop my capacity for independence and am now fully able to make decisions for myself without giving any consideration to the opinions of others.

Now that graduation season is here and we’ll soon be going our separate ways, I realize how much I’ll miss you. Visualizing our own educational journey from the moment we enrolled in this institution to the present day. A completely new side of ourselves is revealed to us. And we can look back and appreciate how the years have shaped us and brought out our bravery, our independence, and all the good in us. As this semester comes to a close, it is time to say our final farewells to our fellow students. Tears in our eyes as we go up to them and give them a final hug and appreciation.
