All of us have experienced sending the wrong text message to the wrong person which really made us feel embarrassed. Every time it happens, we always wish that there is an option where we can unsend the text and save us from further humiliation. Worry no more, because Apple got your back.
Apple previews its newest software, the IOS 16. It comes with a bunch of stunning new features. It includes the ability to unsend and edit messages on iMessage on your iPhone. This feature is what users have been requesting for quite some time now. So, say goodbye to wrong text messages and embarrassing drunk texts, because you can now delete them in a blink of an eye.
The new IOS 16 also comes with different features that help boost iPhone security and privacy. Apple will introduce Passkeys which aims to remove unreliable passwords altogether. Passkeys uses public key cryptography to safely secure your accounts, removing the need for passwords altogether.
In other words, Apple will be able to authenticate you in the background. The only thing you need to do is use Face ID or Touch ID, rather than a password.
A new feature called Safety Check will also be included in the new Apple iOS 16. It is aimed at helping to protect people from their abusive partners. This security feature works by allowing you to stop sharing the location of your phone sharing and revoke all access to accounts you might have previously granted.
It also includes an emergency reset feature that will quickly sign you out of iCloud and reset your privacy permissions.
Apple launches the preview of the IOS 16 at their annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). Though it is not yet available, Apple said that the IOS 16 is currently undergoing beta testing and will become available sometime in July.
