Subtle Ways to Make Your Home Feel the Christmas Vibe

You know that the Christmas season is nearing, but not feeling it quite yet? Maybe you’re overlooking something really important—a decorated home! Bringing the festive mood indoors is the first step to feeling it. Don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be as extravagant as a huge Christmas tree or as overwhelming as bright Christmas lights. And it definitely doesn’t have to be expensive!

Here are subtle ways to make your home feel the Christmas vibe

Match your house items with Christmas colors

Imagine waking up or going home to a surrounding with a good mix of Christmas colors such as red, green, and white; if that doesn’t immediately give you that exciting feeling of the holiday season, I don’t know what will. You don’t need to buy unnecessary things for it too! You can simply replace your pillowcases with a red one—probably with a snowflake pattern on it if you can find one, you can get fresh green plants and buy a white carpet along with it. I mean, if you’re going to replace them and buy new ones at some point in the future, it wouldn’t hurt to do it now, especially if it’ll fit with the season! Talk about hitting two birds with one stone.

Hang decorations

You don’t need a lot for this one, especially if you want to keep it subtle. The best thing about it is that you have the freedom of where and how to put them. You can hang stockings on your doorknobs, a Christmas wreath on your door, and garlands around your staircase banister—these are few but definitely enough to give that Christmas vibe. Remember, you can always add more!

Light up pine tree-shaped candles

Having no Christmas tree is not an issue at all when these pretty little pine-tree-shaped candles exist! It’s the perfect size for minimalist enthusiasts out there who don’t want overpowering decorations at home. Depending on your choice, it also leaves a scent that will linger in your home all day. So, my suggestion is that you pick a scent that reminds you of good holiday memories. Try it out! It’s small, but it’s there.
