You’re still up to date with the latest drama
Remember those annoying girls and guys whose only personality is talking about other people’s businesses? Believe it or not, some grown-ass people never quite shook that nasty habit. We all know an Ines or a Kyle who still somehow knows what is up with everyone on the batch.
And if you’re like this, this is your sign to grow up. We highly suggest finding a new hobby, or anything substantial to preoccupy your time with.
You still wear your high school shirt/jacket
Do you still keep your varsity shirt and proudly wear it out to relive your good old days in high school? Do you find it hard to throw those old shirts away? We hate to break it to you, but that’s a foolproof sign that you peaked in high school.
It’s time to move on. We suggest donating them, you get to help someone unfortunate all while helping yourself too.
The only friends you have are your friends from high school
If you still hang out with the cool kid named Ben from high school, and your idea of a good time is getting blackout wasted just like the old times. Well… PEAKED.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s okay to have the occasional night out from time to time. But if you never created other long-standing platonic relationships apart from your high school circle, we hate to break it to you. But you probably peaked in high school. Most people refuse to create a different circle of friends because to their old high school mates, they are cool, legendary even and some have a hard time letting go of that.
You regularly visit your old high school
Now, it is very normal to attend reunions at your old high school. What is not normal is still making it your second home for being there all the time even on days when you have no business to be there.
Not missing any fairs and events where alumni are welcome is practically the same thing. Don’t be that kid who peaked in high school, and go miss that foundation day celebration this year. It won’t kill you, we promise.
Your best life stories are all from high school
Do yourself a favor and continue doing awesome things like how you used to in high school. That way you wouldn’t have to always look further back when recounting the best days of your life.
There are many more years ahead of you than the four to six years you spent in high school. Make the following years count. Just mark that happy chapter in your life and turn the page. You got this!
We hope this list helps you out to not become that cool kid turned weird all coz’ he peaked in high school. What do you think we should talk about next time?
