Sarah and John Lloyd started as a pair in the box office hit romantic movie A Very Special Love, which premiered in 2008. The project attained immense commercial popularity, leading the love team to captivate the heart of the public.
As a result, Sarah and John Lloyd teamed up on two more sequel works. In particular, they starred in You Changed My Life in 2009 and It Takes A Man and A Woman in 2013.
Meanwhile, Sarah and John Lloyd marked their last big screen partnership in the 2017 romantic comedy piece Finally Found Someone. Hence, it has been six years since their previous collaboration brought delight to admirers who were left longing for more.

On Thursday, Sarah took to her social media page for an update that will soon excite many fans. The Popstar Royalty shared a few snaps with John Lloyd, taken at the Viva office. Her short caption also suggested a possible new project with the actor.
Amid the whirlwind of anticipation, Viva Artists Agency further heightened the excitement through a confirmation. The post reads, “LOOK: Our #AshLloyd hearts. [Sarah Geronimo] and John Lloyd Cruz in a new movie together? YES!!! #SOON.”
Before this announcement, Sarah recently concluded her 20th-anniversary concert on May 12, which took place at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Her last acting commitment was the 2019 movie Unforgettable, where she won a prize as best actress.
On the other hand, John Lloyd top-billed the 2021 drama film Historya ni Ha. He is currently appearing in the GMA comedy series Happy Together.
