Morissette finally finds her SIGNATURE; tells the story behind her EP
Asia’s Phoenix Morissette Amon finally dropped the full tracklist of her EP album, SIGNATURE. The album consists of five songs: Love You Still, Trophy, Will You Stay, Mirror, and Phoenix. She also excitedly shared that it has become her first time to product and co-write an EP. The tracklist also tackles one’s uniqueness and embracing one’s individuality. Aside from that, she also said that it also includes going “…out into the world with a newfound sense of confidence and self-respect.”

The singer released the trailer of her EP album last August 6. It tells the story behind SIGNATURE. It also narrates how she started joining several singing competitions. She also struggled to find her own sound, tending to mimic other artists’ singing styles. Morissette also trained to study other singers’ vocal abilities and it became one of her strengths. During her journey, however, she discovered that her known strength became a disadvantage – one where she has no idea what artist she wanted to be. In the process of searching for her own, she also explored different genres of singing. Taking her path made it more challenging in putting her own twist and flavor to each song she sang.
Meanwhile, Morissette looked back in the past where she remembered signing documents where her own signature was needed.
She ended up creating her own, doodling her name, and initials over and over again. And, at last, she found something that she really loved. She became obsessed with creating her signature and said,
“…maybe because I knew that someone’s signature was unique to oneself.”
Also, she added that one’s signature “…will be like your stamp or carving or imprint that will last forever.” And, because of the recent events from her journey, Morissette challenged herself to push herself outside the box where she can challenge herself and find opportunities to evolve and explore things. To take risks and get ready to face endless possibilities.
Additionally, Asia’s Phoenix said that singing has always been her passion. However, the songs were always from someone else’s perspective. But, this time she finally gathered up the courage to share her own stories from her own perspective. Pouring out her thoughts and emotions in ways has never done before.
“The flame that ignited into a wildfire continues to burn. And I’m excited to begin this new chapter, SIGNATURE.”
