Who says humor and social relevance can’t work together? Well, social media stars Inka Magnaye and Macoy Dubs just gave the netizens the collaboration they’ve been needing to hear.
In the video-sharing app TikTok, the two popular content creators teamed up for a hilarious satirical Miss Universe-themed video. In the video, Inka announced ASEAN “candidates” for the “Miss Universe 2020,” while Macoy, who is known for his satire, went on to recite facts about each country — with flawless shades!
Don’t expect the usual pageant patty statements. The two creators cheerfully *and purposely* talk about how each country was handling the COVOD-19 pandemic.

When Inka called for “candidate no. 22,” Macoy said, “Philippines likes to eat adobo, sinigang, tawilis, but it’s not nice, when you cannot eat rice. Five months nang naka-lockdown, plans are nowhere to be found.”
As of this writing, the video has already garnered over 200,000 reactions on Facebook.
Macoy Dubs achieved his social media star status with his humorous videos. Meanwhile, Inka Magnaye is famous for her voice over talent, having gone viral earlier this year for reciting the Philippine Airlines’ in-flight reminders with her mom.
We are hoping for more Inka-Macoy collab in the next days!
