Hungry Sans PH offers pastries and dishes to fill your heart and tummy!

What started out as their family’s love for tasty dishes, two sisters launched The Hungry Sans PH in May and it grew to be a small business that caters hearty meals and mouthwatering pastries to its volume of customers on the daily.
“So as the name The Hungry Sans suggests, Sans being the shortcut for our family name Sanchez, we love to eat so we figured that we share our family favorites and as well as our new discoveries to everyone.”
The Hungry Sans PH: The Menu
They first tried their hands on the famous Ube Cheese Pandesal, in search of the perfect balance between the ube and the cheese. As they took on orders, they decided to expand their menu and bring in food that has become a staple in their household as well as their own version of Cheese Puffs which is inspired by a famous bakery in LA called Porto’s.
“We also added some of our mother’s specialties such as Callos and Kalitiran, which were recipes passed on from generation to generation.”
The Sanchez Sisters are not just in it for the income. They shared with us how the process is tedious yet fulfilling, especially when baking their bestselling pastries. While at it, they were glad to have picked up a lesson or two that they will surely apply in both their business and personal lives.
“Another thing we learned was time management. My sister and I do everything, from the procurement of our supplies needed, to production, to the social media marketing, to the accounting and I tell you it is not easy. So time management was really something we learned and will continue learning.”
Patience is a virtue
When asked what sets apart their products from the others, The Hungry Sans PH is proud to say that the food they offer is special in a way that patience is really a key ingredient. This is why most of them are for pre-order as they don’t want to compromise its quality and taste!
We could totally vouch for this as their Chess Puffs changed our life! It’s like tasting the clouds!
Made with love, effort, and consistency. It’s not everyday you find a business with passion like that.
“We often get feedback from our customers that the price they pay is worth every bite of our delicious food and pastries. [We] believe in not skimping on the ingredients we use and we make sure that we use quality ingredients. [We] also always tell our customers that our products are freshly baked everyday. After taking it out in the oven, we let it cool for a little bit, box it and contact our customers to have it picked up for them to experience the best quality of our products.”
The Hungry Sans PH shared that the secret to thriving in this pandemic with a small business is to believe in what you sell and be confident about them. There is a big competition out there but if you know in your heart that you’ve poured the best for your products, it will stand out.
