Ashley Subijano Montenegro’s stunning Miss Eco International Evening gowns by Ryan Uson
Miss Eco International 2023 concluded with the crowning of Nguyen Thanh Ha from Vietnam. Succeeding Kathleen Paton of the Philippines, the coronation took place on March 4 at the Triumph Luxury Hotel in Cairo. Hailing from Ho Chi Minh City, Thanh Ha bested out 40 other candidates which includes our own Ashley Subijano Montenegro.
Placing as one of the Top 21 semifinalists, Ashley did a phenomenal job and is certainly the winner in our books. Pouring her heart and soul in trying to pull off a back-to-back winner, she did so by looking amazing.
For both the preliminaries and the finals, Ashley was fully dressed in evening gowns designed by Ryan Uson. As her go-to designer, these beautiful pieces were enough to justify their efforts and it definitely paid off.

Preliminary Gown
In order to impress the judges, Ashley came out in a scene-stealing red and gold chain gown. Fitting her quite nicely, it bears resemblance to the winning gown of Miss Universe 2006 Zuleyka Rivera.
Possibly eluding for a potential victory? We definitely felt that!
Finals Gown
Taking it one step further, Ashley breezes her way during the coronation in a flowy Magenta gown. A color that was popping onstage, she was definitely electrifying to watch.
Even though she didn’t get the crown, she still managed to look every inch of a royalty to us.
Congratulations on making our country proud, Ashley! Thank you for fighting till the very end. You have done more than enough, and we eagerly anticipate what the upcoming years will hold in store for you.
