Miss Universe Philippines 2023 to stage its coronation on May 13
The journey towards the most beautiful day in the Philippines finally has a date! The grand coronation night of Miss Universe Philippines 2023 will take place on May 13 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The announcement was made on Friday, March 3 through a social media post. Featuring the La Mer en Majesté Crown, the caption reads:
“The most beautiful day in the Philippines is on its way!
Our next Miss Universe Philippines will be crowned on May 13, 2023, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. 💫
Save the date!”

Indeed an exciting news at the right time. This follows-up with the update that the Miss Universe Philippines Organization has extended its license for the pageant. In a statement released by MUPH Director of Communications Voltaire Tayag, he shares the following:
We are thankful to the Miss Universe Inc. and Khun Anne for putting their trust in the Miss Universe Philippines Organization as the official Philippine franchise holder. Together, we will forge ahead in championing women and elevating the pageant industry. The MUPh Organization has produced world-class shows and uniquely beautiful queens since it started. We are inspired to continue our commitment to excellence. We look forward to a very eventful and fruitful partnership in the coming years. In the meantime, expect lots of excitement from the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 events culminating in a spectacular finals on May 13, 2023.
The fourth edition of Miss Universe Philippines, 40 candidates from all over the country will compete for three titles. At the end of the event, Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi will be crowning her successor.
