Apparently, Red Velvet set to hold first solo concert in Manila
On Thursday, PULP Live World’s head Happy Sy gave a hint on Twitter that K-Pop girl group Red Velvet is coming back in Manila for a solo concert.
She wrote, “Up Next: ReVeluvs,” together with hashtags, “soon” and “super speed iponing.”
Red Velvet last visited the Philippines in June 2019 as part of the K-Pop World Music Festival. During the event, the five girls were so happy for the warm support they received from the Filipino ReVelus. They promised to return soon for a solo concert.
The five members of the group are Irene (Bae Joo-hyun), Seulgi (Kang Seul-gi), Wendy (Son Seung-wan), Joy (Park Soo-yeong) and Yeri (Kim Ye-ri).
Last January, Happy replied to a tweet of a ReVeluv asking for La Rouge Tour in Manila. Her reply gave joy to all the ReVeluv in the country. Everyone started to look forward to the official announcement.
Now that Happy Sy is confirming the comeback in Manila of Red Velvet, it’s time to save money for the possible March or April PH concert.
Meanwhile, member Wendy just recently got discharged after being hospitalized for over two months due to severe pelvis and wrist fractures.
However, there’s no official word yet from Red Velvet. Let’s just cross our fingers!
