Additionally, it is said that the assault started four hours earlier than the 911 call.
Based on the initial findings, Thompson and Jalandoni went to a hotel in Brgy. Silang Crossing East, Tagaytay City. The two were reported to have an argument thus leading the suspect to hit the victim.
After the alerts, Tagaytay Police rescued Jalandoni and detained Thompson for questioning. The former is still recovering from her injuries at Tagaytay Medical Center.
Cornerstone Management, Thompson’s agency, has yet to release a statement regarding the arrest.
Public reactions
Netizens expressed their disappointment because of the Pinoy Big Brother alum’s actions.
Truly disappointed in you Kit Thompson, unfortunately there are boys like you in the world. I hope you think about what you’ve done in jail. May the demons haunt you and may the woman you caused grief find the justice she deserves. Women are not objects, do not victim blame.

From now on, let’s not support Kit Thompson’s projects in show business. We cannot support an abuser. We cannot support a person who undermines the rights of a woman. Let’s put stop to VAWC. #EndVAWC
