These adorable mini cakes and pastries evoke happy memories of childhood
Even on a strict diet, just a mere sight of pastries entices us to devour all of it. We can’t simply say no to it. Basically, a taste of sweetness can brighten up someone’s day. You needn’t bother with the motivation to eat treats and no specific event to devour it. It’s sufficient to nourish our spirit and taste a bite of paradise on earth.
Starting the business with a big vision and inspiration from memories
Nikki Andal certainly knows the charisma of elegant sweets as she released her own brand last month, the Dollhouse Pantry. For three years, she has been working as a freelance social media manager, graphic designer, creative director, and food stylist at N Studios. When the COVID-19 crisis began, most of her clients are small start-ups. She also saw her friends started on their ventures. These people became her inspiration to create her own product and packaging.
“I didn’t want to create just another business. I’ll start big because I’m going big” so I made it happen. I built a brand that I truly love called Dollhouse Pantry.”
As Nikki studied the art of making pastries, she learned that success is related to contentment. It’s also a matter of keeping up with the trend but at the same time having a faith in your own brand. There are some struggles in managing a business and working full time as a Digital Marketing Head, but Nikki was able to juggle them. By doing this, she was able to improve herself on so many levels.
Dollhouse Pantry is all about dreams in terms of taste and décor
For Nikki, Dollhouse Pantry is where all her childhood memories turn into confectionery. And there’s no doubt about that. This local brand got its muse from French and Korean café aesthetics that’s why each product has a meticulous packaging.
We think that the packaging itself looks like a pink dollhouse and opening it is another whole different story. From the moment I unboxed the goodies, the lovely smell of vanilla, custard, and sugar filled my nostrils. The cream puffs were quite decadent because she used dark chocolate that complemented the lightness of the custard filling.
The cute Strawberry Shortcake is too cute to eat but when I took a spoonful, I fell in love instantly with it. The cake and icing taste very similar to Vizcos, maybe it’s less tangy. It’s a perfect pasalubong for kids.
According to Nikki, her recipes went into thorough research with her and her bakers because they want to perfect the taste, consistency, and shelf life. It took a lot of months for them to finish that and four months to create their first menu.
Because of its unique and eye-catching packaging and superb taste, Dollhouse Pantry can really emerge from its competitors online. Even as a young brand, it already has a tagline and vision, “Taste like Childhood Dreams” and they were able to give that to customers. Soon, they are planning to launch a limited gift set for December that is themed after the cast of Beauty and the Beast. By 2021, they are also planning to add savory treats to their menu. How exciting!
For those who want to experience the delectable pastries, you can send your orders at the Facebook and Instagram account of Dollhouse Pantry.
