In March 2022, LG shared an update that confirms the release of Android 12 to the LG Velvet in the first quarter of 2022. The first stable release for the device rolled out in its home market of South Korea. However, the brand’s update will start rolling out more widely.

According to Android, the OS remains the most personal yet. This features dynamic color capabilities that transform users’ experience based on wallpaper and responsive motion that responds to their touch. It is also designed to be accessible for even more users.
It should also be noted that LG has canned its mobile phone business in early 2021. However, as the brand has promised, it has started rolling out updates to the handsets they have already sold.
