Karla Majam is Miss Uniworld 2023
A new Filipina has shined once again at the international stage! Congratulations to Karla Majam of the Philippines for winning Miss Uniworld 2023. Beating out 26 other candidates, she becomes the first Filipina to bring home the title.
The pageant’s coronation night took place on June 11 at the JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

A 18-year-old Filipino-Puerto Rican model from Sta. Rosa, Laguna, Karla was appointed as Miss Uniworld Philippines 2023 on May 29. Citing her ‘extraordinary grace, inner strength, and undeniable beauty’ as reasons behind the selection, the decision was indeed successful.
Miss Uniworld Philippines is headed by its national director, former Binibining Pilipinas 2021 candidate and Miss Supermodel Worldwide 2022 Alexandra Rosales.
By winning Miss Uniworld 2023, Karla receives the “Queen of Kilimanjaro” crown by Amee Philipps, the pageant’s official crown sponsor. Named after the famous Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, the crown is made up of diamonds, white gold, and tanzanite. Its value is worth at around $400,000.
