I’ve decided to live healthily before it’s too late.

We often take things for granted. In life, we are given free will. We are given the opportunity to decide on our own. Intellectual skills are given to us and that’s how we learn how to survive. And, with that said, we must learn how to live well and healthily.

Neglecting one’s self may be a form of self-harm. However, sometimes we become too complacent that we began to think our bodies are strong enough to fight for us on their own. We might not notice it. But, we are killing ourselves slowly. You won’t ever know how much it will cost if you keep abusing your body.

Learn how to take care of yourself before it’s too late.

Living healthy.

I know. There is a lot of work to be done. Day by day, your engagements and responsibilities continue to increase. Often, we forget to put ourselves first. However, that unhealthy habit should stop immediately.

We should never trade our welfare for the sake of making a living. Because what is the essence of earning money if they will just end up in hospital bills? Remember, health is wealth. It is the most important asset. Change your habits and start living healthy.

Because bad habits may lead to one’s death.

Okay. I am guilty. I have an unhealthy diet. Plus, my sleeping pattern is messed up as I only get three to five hours of sleep. When I started living alone, I also couldn’t eat a proper meal. I would eat instant noodles and canned noodles all the time. Oh, add junk food, too.

I would prefer buying or eating meals outside. My caffeine and alcohol intake has also rapidly increased. But, who doesn’t like coffee, right? Unfortunately, all pleasurable things come with great consequences. These daily habits just lead me to sickness.

Now, I always need to go to the doctor. The appointments and continuous check-ups would cost me thousands. I have to wait a long line in a waiting area for my turn to get my blood extracted. All these hassles just because I neglected my health.

You see, our unhealthy habits always bear consequences. And, you’re never too old to adopt new healthy habits.

No matter how packed our schedules are, we must find time for ourselves. Take care of your physical, mental, and emotional health. Eat on time, and make sure to have a proper meal. Take some sleep and allow your body to rest. Reduce alcohol and caffeine intake. Drink lots of water and stay hydrated. Also, be active. Or, if you’re feeling down, try to talk to someone.

I know how hard it is. But, that shouldn’t stop you, shouldn’t stop us, from expressing our suppressed feelings. Medical bills are expensive. If we trade our health for whatever we’re working on right now, our sacrifices will just go down the drain.

Keep everything in balance. Start living healthily now before it’s too late.
