Emotions are for everyone

Emotions are for everyone

Discrimination when it comes to emotions exists all around the world and it happens all the time to anyone, no matter what race, age, or gender. Ask yourself, have you been discriminated against? Or let’s put it the other way around, have you ever discriminated against someone before? Think about it carefully.

I’ve seen several forms of discrimination and have also experienced it. I’ve heard so many stories regarding guys who expressed their feelings or felt vulnerable but have been discriminated against. This should not be the case for having an emotion should be normalized for everyone.

People are meant to feel sad, happy, excited, exhausted, nervous, etc. It is normal for people to express these no matter what sex or gender expression.

Emotion is a complex experience of consciousness, body sensations, and behavior that reflects the personal meaning of an object, an event, or a condition of affairs. People should stop discriminating people who are transparent about what they feel. You can be exceptional and appreciated while also being able to express any emotion you want.

You are important and special regardless of how you express what you feel. You are valuable and loved. This is a reminder to everyone to be kind and brighten the dark days of some people because we aren’t always aware of what they are going through. Start with yourself and inspire everyone to make this happen!
